Fat Joe Sought As Witness To Miami Shooting
-
Artist:
Miami police arrested a man they suspect murdered two people on a Memorial Day brawl, and they think Fat Joe may have been a witness to the incident.
Lessli Paz and Joey Navarro were involved in a fight that led to their deaths, and Fat Joe may have been with the two men prior to the altercation. As of now police are unclear if Fat Joe was involved in the incident, they only seek to speak with him to gather information, The Miami Herald reports. Fat Joe's spokeswoman Aimee Morris, says she has not spoken to her client and isn't sure of his whereabouts.

Police say the two deceased men Paz and Navarro, were in a black SUV with others (possibly including Fat Joe) when they became involved in an argument with men on the sidewalk. When the altercation escalated, police say Jermaine ''Wufgang'' Chamberline pulled a gun and fired into the group of people. "As the two groups began punching and kicking each other, [Chamberline] reached into his right-front pocket and pulled out a 9mm handgun,'' according to an arrest report released Tuesday. Paz died right there on the sidewalk, and Navarro died later on at a local hospital.
Chamberline has been charged with two counts of second degree murder, and one of carrying a concealed weapon by a convicted felon.
