Hip Hop Violinist Miri Ben-Ari Injured In Auto Accident

Miri Ben-Ari was involved in an auto accident in Jersey City, New Jersey this wednesday, Sohh reports. According to Miri's representatives her car was totaled when a UPS truck hit her from behind, causing Miri to ram her head into the dashboard. She was rushed to a local hospital, treated for her injuries, and released with the orders to remain in bed for 48hrs minimum.
The Israeli violinist was discovered by Wyclef Jean, and has gone on to work with artists like Twista and Kanye West. She also released the Grammy Award winning Hip Hop Violinist album in 2005. Her current "Symphony Of Brotherhood" track is available on iTunes, it features Dr. Martin Luther Kings "I have a dream" speech paired with her violin strings.
