Ex-Jurassic 5 Members Have New Albums In The Works

In case you're late, "Jurassic 5 broke up":http://mog.com/MrFrost/blog_post/54579 about two months ago. But dry your tears, two projects from ex J5 members have been announced, Pitchfork reports.
Lead emcee Chali 2na has an album in the works titled Fish Outta Water. The oft delayed and long awaited album has been "just around the corner" for over a year. A single titled "Dont Stop" from the album was released in 2006, but the LP never followed. Maybe now that the group has disbanded, the album can see the light of day.
Cut Chemist, who left J5 last year before their official breakup in early '07, has been on tour recently, and is heading to Japan for more dates. Cut will be remixing a russian film as part of PRAVDA: Shadow of Stalin, this projects involves musicians exploring the art of the Stalin era in the solvient union.
