Were you smiling because the Spice Girls world tour ended last week? Well you'll be happy to hear Sporty Spice is working on her fourth solo album. If you're anything like me you probably weren't aware that the first three albums even existed - but never fear, according to Sporty this one will be "edgy". "This Time" was originally released overseas last year, but North American fans were left out in the cold. The disc hits shelves for us on April 8th.
Sporty calls this new album "mature pop", and her first single "Carolyna" deals with a runaway girl. The rest of the songs will deal with more traditional themes, "I think most of the songs on this album are more about relationships and personal feelings and fears and experiences," she says, including being a child of divorce ("Your Mistake") and love conquering all ("The Moment You Believe").
