Garth Brooks Is Back With 'Ultimate Hits' & New Tracks

The country king is back..... sort of. Garth Brooks will release a two cd greatest hits collection that will include over 30 songs, four new tracks, and a DVD on November 6th. Luckily for the fans, Brooks' exclusive deal with Wal-Mart is over and done with, so this offering will most likely be available all over excluding iTunes. The hits collection won't appear on Apple's monster music service because Brooks doesn't want to sell his songs individually. The entire package will be available for purchase for a modest $12-14 dollars, according to Billboard.
One of the four new tracks, a power ballad titled "More Than A Memory" will be released to radio next weekend. Brooks is sticking to his story that he's retired until his children are grown, after promotion for this record is done he's returning to family life.
"It's my job to let people know it's out there. And then after February, I'm going to go back to whatever I was doing before this," Brooks said at the press conference promoting this event.
