An even busier Y-Rock Saturday! Giveaways & a Turntable Takeover!

My shift this Saturday (May 9) on Y-Rock on XPN promises to be a doozy!

Sometime between 8-10pm EST I'll be giving away passes to see the first-ever Philadelphia performance by The Prodigy on Tuesday, May 19!

Then... you probably know that Y-Rock does Radio Takeovers where musicians and celebrities (Ben Kweller, M. Ward, Amanda Palmer, Rainn Wilson, and Shane Victorino to name a few) come in to play DJ and pick music near and dear to their hearts. Well, the first-ever Turntable Takeover is coming to The Circuit, as I welcome to the studio DJ 23 of New Castle, Delaware for a bracing mix of industrial, synthpop, and electronic body music at 10pm!

ETA: Wait, wait, that's not all! I just found out that after DJ 23's mix, I'll have more tickets to give away! The next Making Time party on Friday, May 22 features Dave Pianka and his band of merry DJs, plus live performances from the artists behind two of this year's most anticipated electronic albums: The Juan Maclean and The Field!
