Today's post is brought to you by the letter 'C.' Happy release day to the brothers Jarman of the Cribs, and keep an eye peeled for their gig on Conan tonight. To add to the bounty CSS has remixed the lads- pretty much mashed their faces in it, and the result works! Here's a photo from backstage at their Webster Hall show. There were copious amounts of fun and alchohol involved and their tour manager did a bangup job of rounding them up. Think about it- getting 6 hyped up brazilian bandmembers to stay in one place? Not an easy feat. The things we do for music journalism!

Lucky Bastard! Yeah they'll be at Carling too. We're gonna see them in Chicago in a couple of weeks. Weird, last fall there was a video shoot for Art Bitch that Gabe Saporta put together. Someone dropped some major cash on it, I wonder what became of the footage. He was dressed up in stilettos and lipstick and was slithering between our legs in an art gallery, proffering wine from a box, and then he tosses a grenade at this giant mural that says 'CSS SUX.' We were pretty drunk by the end of it... which is perhaps why I didn't remember it until now. Holla.
