Since I can't get a copy of _The Information_ yet...

Why didn't anybody tell me about this record? After trying to like _Guero_ for months and giving up utterly bored, I finally come across a copy of _Guerolito_. --it seems like basically a remix project of _Guero_, making it _Guero_ + good."Rental Car" almost sounds like The Knife covering "Dumb" from _In Utero_ with Beck guesting on vocals--recommended with emphasis.oh--and, yes, yes, all of mog agrees that _Sea Change_ was really good, despite what hoards of boring people at parties are saying. pinkfish shoutout!.

  1. lemontwist says Hahaha, Beck is so funny. I never gave any of his records a thorough listen-to, other than Odelay. And for having such a crush on him in 7th grade, I never actually owned any of his records. I think it's time for me to revisit Beck...

  2. 82times says lem, for true Beck wackiness reminiscient of _Odelay_, give _Midnight Vultures_ a listen. It's the creative spirit of the Beck you had a crush on applied to sleazy "Hollywood" subject matters. It's not quite "rock", very enjoyable. Speaking of which--he should do a real rock album. Famous line: "I wanna get with _you_ _ohhhhhhh, girl_, and your sister, I think her name's Debra"
