...and a new image has been erected in its place. The new record sounds, kinda like, _everything_ else.I mean, there's a *Michael Jackson* sounding song,a *Destiny's Child* sounding song,an *Indian/Turkish/something* samples with lush strings sounding song,a *gratiutious crunk* song (featuring 3-6 Mafia!@), (more crunk here)a *Stevie Wonder* sounding song,an *R.Kellly* sounding song, plenty of sleazy Rick James-esque *Snoop Dogg* stuff (with Snoop rapping about "J-Tizzle"??)I think I even heard *Coldplay* in there somewhere....all of which slathered in filthy VIP-in-tha-club grimey sex. He's also looking down and to the side in many press photos. This record is going to make Justin, Inc. piles and piles of cash.I'm waiting for the chopped and screwed version. Yes, this is a request.

  2. 82times says You have to listen, like, _once_ all the way through. It will be required listening for Pop'06 101. It's over-the-top ridiculous in the way it uses the musical styles of other artists.

  3. Egress says My friend T helped me appreciate pop music. What I ended up finding about myself is that I've always liked pop music, but just certain brands. I really like Justin T but just don't go out of my way to listen to him. I don't own anything by him. I did really like his performance on the MTV VMA's. Should I be going out of my way really?

  4. 82times says No need to go out of your way. Someone you know will have the whole record and you should listen through once. It will probably be hard to avoid, even. That is awesome that you used the word "brands" in this context. It's exactly what bigtime pop music is--not that its a good or bad thing. Brands: Coke, Apple, Justin Timberlake, Exxon, Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, Camel. They're all playing on the same level in a way.
