Let's face it. No matter the jargon you've got to give a listen to someone named Justin Kase. Case closed. Then we are given such a gift with the sarcastic lecture about drugs sounding like Officer DARE or the Dean of Discipline. What entertainment.

The review is about recordings made in the 90's. The recordings are from the early 1980's when Detroit and the other Rust Belt cities were really getting to know R.E.M. in increasingly large (but still "underground") numbers. I have a feeling that anyone at Olympia for the show(s) came away as an R.E.M. fan. These recordings provide aural evidence for the assertion.
