   deadmandeadman says Not to be contrary, but I prefer ms Peyroux's version myself. She seems to inhabit the song more comfortably than E.P. But it IS a great song, and both versions are excellent. Good call, 2serenity.

   Girlcrawl says Madeleine Peyroux is proving quite a wonderful talent; have two Peyroux releases, and both are fab - Edith is simply in a class alone. Need to drag myself to the cinema as I've heard that Olivier Dahan's film La Vie En Rose is superb, and Marion Cotillard's performance exemplary. Lovely post!

   ye-ye girl says I just got back from the film, actually. It's phenomenal- Marion Cotillard's portrayal of Edith is amazing. I have been a fan of Edith's music for quite a while, but had no idea her life was so tragic... anyway, I highly recommend it, and thanks for the post!
