Neo Soul with an African French Twist - Les Nubians

When I first heard Les Nubians in 2000, I was mesmerized by their sound. French speaking African sisters singing in French. Boy, did I fall in love with their voices and their vibe! Since their debut album, Princesses Nubiennes, they have released two additional albums, all which are beautiful!One of my favorite tracks from their first album is Tabou featuring Casey. Remember Sade's famous song, The Sweetest Tabou? Well, the sisters are singing it in French. I highly recommend that you check out my favorite track and listening to their first album.A real treat to is the Tabou track features a rap by an artist named Casey. It is all in French. I am not to sure what he is saying but it is beautiful!
