Lunch Music

So yesterday I went to the local Sports Bar - Rib House - Multimedia Dining Room Chain Place for lunch and to waste some time playing trivia games against a late afternoon crowd. Trivia wise, things went well. I'm back in the Top 10 for awhile. Lunch was good, even with my salad literally grilled before they brought it out to me. But strangest of all, I heard the background music machine play Melody by The Rolling Stones.

I don't think I've ever heard this song outside of someone playing the album, and certainly never in a place that's trying to cater to everyone, all the time. I suppose Melody is a song that can blend into the background more than say, Brown Sugar but that doesn't mean it's right. I've always liked the smoky, speakeasy vibe of the song, and it definitely made my lunch just that much more enjoyable.
