But unfortunately I'm not drunk. Unfortunately, because it was another long week with early mornings and long days. Not drunk, because I had to be on my better behavior to host a visiting job candidate. Of course, I had some wine when we took that person out to dinner after his "job talk". But, as Merle put it, "The wine don't take effect the way it used to. And I'm hurting in an old familiar way. Tonight the bottle let me down." How true.[This is my first, and probably one of my last, mp3 posts, since 95% of my files are in OGG.]

1234chainsaw says I'm proper? Fuck me, gotta change that (in some way that's consistent with being civil, hmm). Anyway, I don't much change when I'm drunk. If I'm gloriously drunk, I'm a bit more animated, if I'm moodily drunk, I'm a bit more,ahem, moody, but it's all on a pretty short continuum. As for the Taste of Chaos tour, I'm sorry to say that I don't think there's a single band on that roster that I have any interest in.

1234chainsaw says I popped my 'fuck' cherry on MOG a good while ago (sorry if that sounds lewd), in fact on a comment thread about whether it's appropriate to curse on MOG. Also here. I just don't use curse words very often on MOG, since I want to reserve them for expressing an occasional strong sentiment and their expressive strength gets diluted if you use them too promiscuously. (That's what's happening with 'fuck' in the US at least.)
