New EP from The Brother Kite (nu-gaze)

The Brother Kite, your one-stop shop for Brian Wilson meets dreampop from Providence, have released an EP called Moonlight Race which features unreleased tracks, alternative versions, and live cuts. It leads off with "Get On, Me" from the band's sophomore album Waiting For The Time To Be Right, which was among my favorite albums of 2006. Here's that song:



The EP is released on Clairecords and most reliably available through Tonevendor. (The two are run by the same people and both specialize in dreampop and shoegaze.)

As The Brother Kite videos are in short supply, here's the album cut "I'm Not The Only One" (not on the EP):

    goodmusiconly says Quite nice, Liking this a lot Pekka ... especially when the guitars light up the place 'round about the two minute mark on Get On, Me. So the version you posted - is it different than the one on the full length album?

    dachmo says I know digital downloads sometimes destroy the joy of opening up a new cd and all, but eMusic has their '06 release "Waiting For the Time To Be Right" and my 30 day cycle is close to flipping over. So I picked it up. It's Reall Good!! I'm gonna M it if anyone's interested.
